Photobucket Has Screwed Up My Icons!

If you have your photos stored on Photobucket.com, you know exactly what I'm talking about.  If you're lucky and are not having this issue, consider yourself lucky. You don't understand how this is affecting me.  It is taking me FOREVER to fix the HTML codes from Photobucket to my Flickr account. Why Photobucket? And now your site is working but my icons are no longer working. Wonderful! If you have my button on your site, I would really appreciate it if you upload my button again with … [Read more...]

Wordless Wednesday – Face Painting at Disney (linky)

FYI: I have 3 kids but my youngest is the ONLY one who will pose for me. Isn't that sad? I think I may have to "force" my other two to take pictures. I'm sure they will love the memories when they get older. What do you think? ;) Have a Wordless Wednesday Post? Link up your post below. I would love to see your photo! And don’t forget to visit these participants as well: The Domestic Buzz, Momspective, Dear Crissy & 5 Minutes for Mom. … [Read more...]

Ocean Spray Sparkling Juice | Review

I have a little confession to make:  I absolutely LOVE soda.  If it were calorie-free (I don’t drink or like diet soda), I would drink it every day. But since its all sugar (high-fructose corn syrup to be exact) and about 150 calories a serving, I drink it on occasion.  Recently I was contacted by Ocean Spray® offering to send me some samples of their new sparkling juice to try out, which comes in two flavors; cranberry and Pomegranate-blueberry. Ocean Spray® Sparkling Juice is made with 70 … [Read more...]

If you're a blogger or send photos to any Social Media site such as Twitter or Facebook, then you need to read this article. 2. You know that saying, "there's an app for that?" Well there is when it comes to saving your marriage. 3. EASY & Healthy Recipe: Korean Cucumber Salad (Oinamul)

I know I said I was a picky eater not liking vegetables and all but I do have to add that I love cucumbers. It's refreshing, low in calories, contains fiber and has vitamin C. Talk about a good thing.  I love it in salads and in sandwiches too.  Surprisingly my 12 year old enjoys it like she enjoys an apple. Plain with nothing on it. I came across a recipe in the Diabetes Health magazine in my doctor's (endocrinologist - I have Thyroid issues) office a few days ago.  Since my mom has … [Read more...]

The EASIEST Way To Hide Veggies in Foods For Kids

I'm not a proud mama when I say I have two very picky kids when it comes to trying out new foods and veggies. I'm not proud because they are just like their mom. I'm so picky when it comes to veggies because I grew up not liking anything that was green. When it came to fruits, I liked almost all fruits so that's what my mother bought for me instead. I recently came across an article in the April edition of Redbook magazine that I immediately loved, I just had to share it with my lovely … [Read more...]

Disney Cruise Line: From The Big Apple to The Lone Star State and Beyond

Did you hear the big news from the Disney Cruise Line?  Thank goodness I get updated emails from Disney Cruise Line because I'm what they call a "Silver Castaway member", having sailed back in 2002. They have announced they will be sailing from the Big Apple aka New York City, Galveston, Texas, Seattle and Los Angeles, California next Spring! That's right folks, in 2012.  Being a New Yorker, I am ecstatic that Disney will be sailing from New York City, which means no airfare for many people.  … [Read more...]

Getting Gorgeous With Degree in NYC With Discount Codes!

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending my 2nd Getting Gorgeous event in New York City.  It's a beauty event that is jam-packed with awesome sponsors and bloggers founded by two sweet, wonderful ladies Vera Sweeney and Audrey McCllellan. Let me start off by saying that if you've never had the honor of meeting Vera or Audrey, you're missing out. I'm not kissing their butt (well maybe I am...lol) but these two ladies are the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet. The first time I met … [Read more...]

Shout-Out Sunday – 4/3

Whoa, it's been a long while since I last posted a Shout-Out Sunday. It's not that I haven't found any good, interesting reads (I most definitely have), it's just that other things have gone in the way like life, kids, my darling husband. You know how that goes. Last night I was chatting with my good friend and fellow blogger Rachel and she asked me what happened to my Shout-Out Sunday post. I thought no one cared about that post but I guess I was wrong. And I'm grateful for her asking me … [Read more...]
