Getting Gorgeous 2013 was Fantabulous, As Usual!

Getting Gorgeous is one of the hottest beauty events around, if you ask me. I had the privilege of attending Getting Gorgeous at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City just a few weekends ago. It’s one of those beauty events that are invite-only and if you got an invitation, you know you were in for a real treat. They only invite about 150 bloggers so I was beyond excited when I received my tickets for this event. Since I’m a full-time working mom who works outside of the home, … [Read more...]

Billboard en Concierto Series in The Best Buy Theatre in N.Y.C. #Net10Latino

Net10Wireless

It's not too often that I attend concerts -- although it's not by preference, but I do enjoy going to a good concert especially when it's with music I enjoy listening to and of course dancing to. Billboard is presenting its fourth annual Billboard en Concierto concert series leading up to the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami later this month. The outstanding seven city, by invitation only, music series kicked off April 2 in the House of Blues in Houston and will feature live … [Read more...]

The Bible Tv Series

THE BIBLE will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD April 2! If you love Bible stories then you’ve probably heard about the new television series.  The Bible series is a highly intriguing, exquisitely developed and beautifully detailed television show that brings those Bible stories to life.  A couple of nights ago, The Bible series' executive producers, Mark Burnett and Roma Downey, were joined by some of their celebrity friends, including Kristin Chenoweth, Montel Williams … [Read more...]

Dave & Busters + New Victory Theater = Loads of Fun!

20121022-204732.jpg

Last weekend my little one and I were invited by Mama Drama NY for a fun-filled afternoon at Dave & Busters followed by a 7 pm show at New Victory Theater to see URBAN. During our time at Dave & Busters, we were treated to a class on how to juggle where we juggled pieces of colorful fabric. You may think, Oh, fabric must be easy to juggle than the usual balls -- but I assure you, those fabrics have a mind of their own. :) It was fun for all of us and afterwards we were all … [Read more...]

The Dirty Dancing® 25th Anniversary Celebration ~ Hosted by Skinny Cow® Productions

Skinny Cow ice creams

Movie making has changed dramatically over the past few decades. Now, many individuals have the option to choose movie theaters that have surround sound and 3D effects and also purchase Blue Ray DVD's. All of these advanced technology for movie viewing is great, but sometimes I enjoy watching a movie the way I did growing up -- the classic way. One of my ultimate favorite classic movie is Dirty Dancing®. I've watched the movie Dirty Dancing® numerous times, and even bought the soundtrack … [Read more...]

A Visit to New York City For The #LowesChallenge Event

Lowes Challenge

I was invited by Lowe's to attend their Designer Challenge a few weeks ago.  Little did I know I would also meet my long time friend, Jai from Mami's Time Out. I was psyched. We have been online friends for about 7-8 years -- way before we started blogging.  It all started in an iVillage.com message board called Latina Beauty.  We learned a lot about each other and soon we decided to start our very own blogs. Meeting Jai in person was the highlight of my day.  I'm sure there will be other … [Read more...]

Motherhood Out Loud: Not Just For Moms!

Motherhood Out Loud

Call me crazy but ever since I was a little girl, I wanted children -- specifically a boy for the first-born.  At the tender age of 21, I found out I was pregnant and no, it was not planned but I was gleaming with joy. I like to say my son matured me. He made me realize that I was no longer first, it was him, and I had no problem whatsoever. Even though it took me until I got home to fall in love with him, he was my real-life doll.  I dressed him, played with him, took him to the park … [Read more...]

Giada De Laurentiis For Target Collection Event

Giada De Laurentiis

I was watching The Talk yesterday after hearing that Giada De Laurentiis will be on and ONLY because she would be on the show and that is when I remembered.  Holy Moley, I never posted about the event that I attended with the one and only Giada De Laurentiis. By the way, The Talk is NOT the same without Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete so I won't be watching often.  I was definitely turned off when I heard the awful news that Leah and Holly would no longer be on the show. For whatever … [Read more...]

I’m Teaming with the Tropicana OJ Express at Grand Central Terminal in NYC

Tropicana OJ Express

I'm thrilled to be a part of the Tropicana Team as one of their TropiMomma Ambassadors. I've been a Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice consumer for as long as I can remember and it's a product I believe in and buy every week for my family. According to a Tropicana survey, one in four Americans start the day off in a bad mood.  I hate to say that I am THAT one.  It's the "waking up early" part that I dislike.  I love mornings but I wish I wasn't exhausted as soon as I get up. It does … [Read more...]
