20 Things I Wish I did on the Disney Wonder. #Disneysmmc

Disclosure: My family and I were invited to take part in the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration conference at Disney World and on the Disney Wonder cruise ship. We paid a fee to attend but also received special discounts and complimentary gifts. All opinions are 100% my own. I recently went on my second Disney cruise, thanks to the wonderful Disney Social Media Moms Celebration team. It was just as magical and amazing as the first one, if not better! This time around, I was 100% sure I … [Read more...]

{Review} Road Trippin’ in the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT S-AWC #DriveShop #DriveMitsubishi

Disclaimer: Thanks to Drive Shop and Mitsubishi, I was given the opportunity to test drive the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander for seven days. All opinions are 100% my own. Every time I get a vehicle loaned from Drive Shop, I make it a point to go somewhere miles away so that I can get a good feel for the way the vehicle drives and handles on the road. So that's exactly what I did; I took a small road trip with my youngest to New Jersey to visit my sister for the weekend. I was beyond grateful … [Read more...]

Hittin’ The Road to Lancaster, PA in the New 2017 Mazda CX-3 Grand TouringAWD #DriveShop #DriveMazda

Disclosure: Thanks to Drive Shop for giving me the opportunity to drive the 2017 Mazda CX-3 for ten days.  Opinions expressed are always my own. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love going on road trips.  I truly enjoy the adventure, the open road and the quality time spent with my loved ones. We can chat, crack jokes, listen to music and even play games. A few weekends ago, my family and I packed up the Mazda CX-3 and took off to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for a fun 80's themed … [Read more...]

Nueva Vida – A New Hope #SomosFiOS

Disclosure: This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Verizon FiOS (#SomosFiOS). All thoughts and opinions expressed here are 100% my own. Hispanic Heritage Month is now over but that doesn't mean Nueva Vida, a support network for Latinas with cancer and their families will stop now.  They keep on going strong to help people in need. As long as they have Verizon to back them up, they are on their way to inform and empower those who are going through traumatic experiences. They … [Read more...]

Ramblings: My Weekend in a Nutshell ~ July 4th

Hey everyone! How was your 4th of July? I hope you all had a wonderful 4th! As for me, my weekend was great. I spent it with my lovely family. The best part was that it was low-key and without a schedule. I also cleaned, I cooked many meals and I baked a cake. Which also means I ate a lot -- more than I would like to admit. I did do a few squats here and there but it's nothing like doing the squat challenge - which I've got to start again. I also did the treadmill. I probably burned … [Read more...]

Luna Park’s Halloween Harvest @LunaParkNYC

Luna Park is just another reason why I love Brooklyn.  Yesterday afternoon, my daughter and I headed to Coney Island to take advantage of Luna Park's Halloween Harvest! Luna Park hosted the biggest day of its Halloween Harvest celebration yesterday.  In addition to the festive décor and costumed characters wandering the park, Luna Park welcomed Food Network star Marc Maniac and his team from Maniac Pumpkin Carvers  who created a masterpiece out of a giant pumpkin that had been on display at … [Read more...]

Grana Padano and Lidia Bastianich Teach Healthy Eating with Kids at Eataly

This month my daughter and I had the opportunity to cook some delicious and healthy recipes with Lidia Bastianich and Grana Padano in La Scoula Grande right inside Eataly in New York City. I've been a fan of Lidia's Italy since I was a teenager. My mother-in-law is also a huge fan. My mother-in-law always says, "All Lidia has to do on that show is throw some onion and garlic into a pan and I start to drool!" I enjoy Lidia's recipes because her approach is fresh, rustic, and simple. We … [Read more...]
