Ramblings: My Weekend in a Nutshell ~ July 4th

Hey everyone! How was your 4th of July? I hope you all had a wonderful 4th! As for me, my weekend was great. I spent it with my lovely family. The best part was that it was low-key and without a schedule. I also cleaned, I cooked many meals and I baked a cake. Which also means I ate a lot — more than I would like to admit.

I did do a few squats here and there but it’s nothing like doing the squat challenge – which I’ve got to start again. I also did the treadmill.

I probably burned a small cheeseburger but hey, at least I did something right? What do you think? 😉

My sister also came to visit us yesterday with her boyfriend. We had such a good time goofing around. We talked about EVERYTHING. Too bad we forgot to take pictures. I always love to take photos to remember the good times. Time goes by so fast. In a blink of an eye a year has gone by.

Just last week my son graduated from high school. HIGH SCHOOL PEOPLE!! I’m still in utter shock. I can remember when I took him home from the hospital. And now he’s a high school graduate! Next is college. Sigh…….

Ugh so much is happening so fast. I’ll be 40 this year so I’m trying to enjoy the last of my thirties.

Sniff, sniff.

My 15 year old will be a sophomore in high school and my baby will be in 4th grade.

You see! Time flies by so fast.

I’m hoping the rest of the year will be full of love, laughter, health, wealth and happiness for YOU and me!

Don’t forget to take the time to be thankful for what you have, spend some quality time with your loved ones and go make some memories! 🙂
