Finding Out If You’re Pregnant Just Got Better #ClearblueConfirmed #Ad
Disclosure: This post is part of a sponsorship with BabyCenter and Clearblue. All thoughts and opinions expressed here are 100% my own. Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to start a family at an early age. I remember a conversation I had with a friend in fourth grade about having kids. We talked about our future kids and what we wanted to have first. Yeah, I know it wasn’t quite normal having that type of conversation in fourth grade but it was something I knew I would … [Read more...]
Wordless Wednesday – City Island Fun (#linky)
I was looking through my photos yesterday and decided it was a good time to transfer my precious photos to my portable drive. There has been too many close calls with my computer and my husband is blaming my blogging for mishaps. I couldn't agree with him more. Blogging and reading other blogs leaves the computer vulnerable to viruses and such so please be careful everyone. Ok, so I did say this was a "Wordless" Wednesday so let me just show you the pics I chose for this week ;): These … [Read more...]
Monday Memories: Apple Picking at DuBois Farms in Highland, NY
Earlier today I was looking through my picture files and I can not believe it's been two years since the last time we went apple picking. I love picking fresh fruit and smelling the fresh air through the orchards. I need to make a mental note and plan our next apple picking outing. Check out a few photos I took at Dubois Farms in 2008. It's a wonderful place where you can pick your own fruit from apples, pears, grapes, peaches and pumpkins, drink apple cider and eat delicious apple cider … [Read more...]
Wordless Wednesday – A Piece of History, A Piece of My Childhood, Almost Gone!
I'm speechless. I don't know what to say. I could not help but noticed what's being done to the old Yankee Stadium. I'm shocked! I had to take pictures while waiting at a red light heading to my mom's house. I knew this day would come but to see it in real life, it's just blows my mind. A piece of history will soon be gone forever. A piece of my childhood will soon be gone forever. Damn, I feel old and depressed looking at these pictures. I wonder what my Dad is saying in … [Read more...]
Mom Of A Teenager
My son is 13 years old today. I can't believe this. It's official. I'm a mom of a teenager! I know I'm not that old but I sure do feel old. I was 21 when I had him. I can still remember the day I found out I was pregnant. I bought a pregnancy test at a pharmacy store on Central Ave. in Yonkers, NY. My boyfriend (my husband now) and I decided to eat lunch at Nathan's not far away. After we ate, I told him that I wanted to take the test. He wanted me to wait until we got home. … [Read more...]
Wordless Wednesday – Hudson River | Bowdoin Park
A few days ago, I took the kids out to the park to have a picnic. It wasn't a sunny day but it was a beautiful day. It wasn't hot, humid or sticky. The day was nice and cool; just the way I like it. … [Read more...]
