Today I took my girls to the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival in Saugerties, New York. It was a beautiful day to walk around in the fresh air that was infused by garlic everywhere. Today is officially my children's last day of summer. Believe it or not, I still have some last minute things to buy on their school lists and I also have to buy my older two a few more outfits (I bought my 5 y/o her school clothes back in January at a tremendous deal). When I cook, I rarely use a recipe. I cook how my mother and grandparents taught me. A little bit of this, a little it of that and make sure you taste as you go along.
