I can't believe it! BRAVE will be in theaters everywhere this FRIDAY!! While in San Francisco, the bloggers were treated to several interviews with the amazing people behind the movie BRAVE.  Here's the inside scoop from … [Read more...]

During our Disney/Pixar press trip, we had the chance to interview the creative people behind the much anticipated film, BRAVE. Visiting Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, California #DisneyPixarEvent

When I first received the email inviting me to a press event in San Francisco, I was surprised to know that Walt Disney had a whole museum dedicated to his life, his family and his fantastic career. Visiting the Walt Disney Family Museum was saved for day 3, the last thing on our agenda during the Disney/Pixar Event last month but it was the most memorable. Opened in 2009, the beautiful Walt Disney Family museum sits on the old grounds of a military base in the Presidio of San Francisco … [Read more...]

Day Two of the Disney/Pixar event was even more magical than the day before.  Like I said before, Disney/Pixar had a jam-packed schedule for the bloggers on Day Two and we were ready to take  it on! Upon arriving at the Pixar Studios for the second time (lucky us!), we were treated to a wonderful breakfast in the atrium.  After our breakfast, we were divided into two groups; Clan Dingwalls and Clan McGuffins. Disneynature’s Chimpanzee Film is A Must See! #DisneyPixarEvent

Chimpanzee, Disneynature's 4th movie, opened this past Friday in theaters everywhere and guess what?  Chimpanzee made over TEN MILLION DOLLARS in one solid weekend! Incredible! I couldn't believe my eyes.  The best part is when you buy a ticket to see the film during the first week (April 20-26), Disneynature will make a donation in your honor to the Jane Goodall Institute to help save Chimpanzees today and tomorrow. Chimpanzee, directed by Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield, filmed … [Read more...]

So You Think You Can Bagpipe? #DisneyPixarEvent

This was one of the activities Disney/Pixar had planned for us while touring Pixar Studios.  We learned everything there is to know about bagpipes -- from the history, to the music and even the various songs you can play. Since we inhaled so much information in a short amount of time, I thought it would be a good idea to get my Flip Cam out and record it instead. I know the video is long (not too bad - 4-1/2 minutes) but it's well worth it. Enjoy! Disclosure: Disney provided me with an … [Read more...]

DisneyNature’s CHIMPANZEE Downloadable Activity Sheets #DisneyPixarEvent

With DisneyNature's CHIMPANZEE opening up this week, April 20th to be exact, I wanted to share some FREE activity sheets with you all but first, let me tell you a little bit about CHIMPANZEE and Disneynature. CHIMPANZEE is the fourth release for Disneynature, the first new Disney-branded film label from The Walt Disney Studios in more than 60 years.  The label was launched in April 2008 to bring the world’s top nature filmmakers together to capture a variety of wildlife subjects and … [Read more...]

From New York to San Francisco: Pixar Studios, Footage of Brave & La Luna! #DisneyPixarEvent

Last week, I attended the Disney/Pixar Press Event  in sunny San Francisco and it still feels like a dream.  As I look at all the photos I took, my mind is going a mile a minute from all that we did in just three short days. DAY ONE: Upon my arrival at SFO (San Francisco Airport), I met with other bloggers in a van to head straight to our "home" for the next few days, Hotel Palomar.  Once we got to the hotel, I couldn't wait to visit Pixar Studios but thank goodness we had about an hour to … [Read more...]
