Before the movie BRAVE, there will be a short film, directed by Enrico Casarosa called La Luna. A fable of a young boy who is coming of age in the most peculiar of circumstances. Tonight is the very first time his Papa and Grandpa are taking him to work. In an old wooden boat they row far out to sea, and with no land in sight, they stop and wait. So You Think You Can Bagpipe? #DisneyPixarEvent
This was one of the activities Disney/Pixar had planned for us while touring Pixar Studios. We learned everything there is to know about bagpipes -- from the history, to the music and even the various songs you can play. Since we inhaled so much information in a short amount of time, I thought it would be a good idea to get my Flip Cam out and record it instead. I know the video is long (not too bad - 4-1/2 minutes) but it's well worth it. Enjoy! Disclosure: Disney provided me with an … [Read more...]

From New York to San Francisco: Pixar Studios, Footage of Brave & La Luna! #DisneyPixarEvent
Last week, I attended the Disney/Pixar Press Event in sunny San Francisco and it still feels like a dream. As I look at all the photos I took, my mind is going a mile a minute from all that we did in just three short days. DAY ONE: Upon my arrival at SFO (San Francisco Airport), I met with other bloggers in a van to head straight to our "home" for the next few days, Hotel Palomar. Once we got to the hotel, I couldn't wait to visit Pixar Studios but thank goodness we had about an hour to … [Read more...]

I literally screamed when I saw the email in my inbox. My kids were like, "Um, Mom, why are you acting like a kid?" I replied with, "I'm going to San Fransisco!" The looks on their faces were priceless! After that, my girls were asking if they could go. Sadly, they cannot. It's only for bloggers. YES!! lol Shh, don't tell … [Read more...]
