Reboost With A New Boost Mobile

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boost Mobile. All opinions are 100% mine. Since my son is in high school and hasn't had a phone yet, we're looking into different plans that would work for him and for our budget.  I don't want to put him in our monthly plan because that would be too expensive and I don't want to commit to it for 2 years. Instead, we're looking into pre-paid plans. The plan that caught my eye was the Boost Mobile.  It has everything a high school kid … [Read more...]

Back-To-School With Seventh Generation | Review & Giveaway

So folks, that's it. It's Back-to-school time! Summer is finally over (boo-hoo) and school is now in session. Kids will be on a schedule (finally!) and will bring home homework (among other things) every week. On top of bringing homework to the home, they'll also bring home those nasty germs from school. Did you know that 2.7 million bacterial found per square inch is on common school surfaces? It's no wonder that 82 percent of parents with kids in grades K-5 fret about the germs in … [Read more...]

We Remember – 9 Years Later – 9/11

"New York City will never be the same again." Every year since the 9/11 tragedy, there are tons of wounds being reopened after another year has gone by.  It's so sad how it happened. I remember that day like it was yesterday.  The thing that really gets me teary is when they read each and every name out loud. Somehow my eyes tear with almost every name that is announced. I'll be honest, I don't watch the whole tribute, it's just too sad to watch it so I keep myself busy spending time … [Read more...]

The Secrets Of Chefs: What They’ll Never Tell You

As a mom of 3 very hungry children,  I often cook dinner almost every day of the week. It's more economical, I know exactly what I putting into every dish I make and the kids love a home-cooked meal, especially my husband.  But for me, time away from the kitchen is a blessing in disguise.   I don't have to worry about what to make, what time I should start dinner and the mess that is made after everything is done. I love to cook but the one thing I do not like is cleaning the kitchen after … [Read more...]

Just One More Day

Today is officially my children's last day of summer. Believe it or not, I still have some last minute things to buy on their school lists and I also have to buy my older two a few more outfits (I bought my 5 y/o her school clothes back in January at a tremendous deal). There's nothing worse than being a last-minute mommy. My kids have been very excited for weeks about their first day of school which is tomorrow. They're even more excited because they're all going to be attending new schools. … [Read more...]
