A huge thanks goes out to Jai from Mami's Time Out for giving me that extra push to post more on the blog! Go check out her fabulous blog on the link. I can honestly say that I am overly obsessed with cooking shows. Whether it's from the Cooking Channel, Food Network or even YouTube, I can watch food shows all day, everyday. I love to watch people cook. It relaxes me and it justs puts me in a zen mood. I even have a few chefs that I can watch all day long too. They include: Bobby Flay, Giada … [Read more...]
Verizon FiOS Mobile App Makes Cooking Fun! #SomosFiOS
Disclosure: This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Verizon FiOS (#SomosFiOS). All thoughts and opinions expressed here are 100% my own. Let’s face it. It’s summer. It’s hot out. The sun is shining. The flowers are in full bloom. And the last thing anyone wants to do is slave over a hot stove to cook a hot meal when they get home from work. I rather let hubby take over the kitchen and cook whatever his heart desires while I'm outside enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Whatever he … [Read more...]
Easy Recipe: Dark Chocolate Banana Bread
It's not officially fall just yet but it sure does feel like fall already. The morning hours are crisp and cold and everyone is breaking out their sweaters and long pants. Once the kids are back in school, I often go into baking mode. I love to bake. It's soothing and it makes the house smell yummy. Every year, around this time, I make a delicious, moist pumpkin bread that my family and I go crazy over. I haven't made it just yet because I have been obsessed with banana bread with dark … [Read more...]
Giada De Laurentiis For Target Collection Event
I was watching The Talk yesterday after hearing that Giada De Laurentiis will be on and ONLY because she would be on the show and that is when I remembered. Holy Moley, I never posted about the event that I attended with the one and only Giada De Laurentiis. By the way, The Talk is NOT the same without Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete so I won't be watching often. I was definitely turned off when I heard the awful news that Leah and Holly would no longer be on the show. For whatever … [Read more...]

And don’t forget to visit these participants as well: The Domestic Buzz, Momspective, Dear Crissy & 5 Minutes for Mom. … [Read more...]
Having Breakfast with Food Network’s Aaron McCargo, Jr. and Aunt Jemima
Last month, I was invited to have breakfast with Food Network's Aaron McCargo, courtesy of Aunt Jemima. You may not know this but I'm completely obsessed with the Food Network. I know EVERYONE on the network and watch almost every show. If there's ever a blog event featuring ANYONE from the Food Network, I am so there! I first saw Aaron McCargo when he was on the show called Food Network Star back in 2008. He actually won the grand prize of having his own show. I was rooting for him since … [Read more...]
Easy Memorial Day Recipes – Thanks to Food Network
Where has the time gone? Doesn't it feel like yesterday we were just in January? Or is it just me? Memorial Day is this weekend! Seriously, I feel like time is literally flying by and I don't know if I like it. That means my kids are getting older and I am missing my babies dearly. Sigh. Well, at least we have the holidays coming up which also means good food accompanying the days. I'd thought it would be a great idea to share some of my favorite recipes I have found over the years from … [Read more...]
Make One Night Sandwich Night With The Deen Brothers
Yesterday I attended an event called Sandwich Night With The Deen Brothers (Paula Deen's boys Jamie & Bobby). I was invited by Jennifer James from the MomBloggersClub who is one of my favorite people out in the blogging world. She is really helpful, smart and an all-around great person to know. The purpose of the event was to show people that serving sandwiches can be a quick and easy solution for dinnertime. It's both easy on our wallets and our waistlines ;). The Deen Brothers … [Read more...]
