The Secrets Of Chefs: What They’ll Never Tell You

As a mom of 3 very hungry children,  I often cook dinner almost every day of the week. It's more economical, I know exactly what I putting into every dish I make and the kids love a home-cooked meal, especially my husband.  But for me, time away from the kitchen is a blessing in disguise.   I don't have to worry about what to make, what time I should start dinner and the mess that is made after everything is done. I love to cook but the one thing I do not like is cleaning the kitchen after … [Read more...]

Decorating Cakes With Duff Goldman From Ace Of Cakes

Watching shows on Food Network has been an obsession for me since my husband and I got DirectTV when we first moved into our house.  I had no idea there was a channel dedicated to food (no, I wasn't living under a rock but it sure felt like it...lol).  I remember watching Emeril Live and Rachael Ray (they were my fave shows back then) cooking up some delicious meals,  I would get so relaxed but also wishing that I was there tasting all the yummy foods too. The Bread Art Project was created by The Grain … [Read more...]

Ragu Event with Molly Ringwald & Marcela Valladolid

Last week I was invited to an event that was sponsored by Ragu® pasta sauce for their "Feed Your Kids Well - Recipe For A Good Start" campaign.  It was a private event that I was excited to be a part of because my family and I love Ragu® pasta sauce.  We use it for a lot of our meals and for each half cup of sauce is a whole serving of vegetables, which is perfect for two picky kids in our household. Upon arriving, I couldn't help but notice the smells that permeated the air. My daughter … [Read more...]
