Champion SHAPE™: Running Errands Comfortably

For the past several weeks, I've been reviewing workout gear from Champion SHAPE™ as a "Shape Your Life Ambassador." And I have to say, it has been fabulous!  It makes me look and feel great and it makes Zumba extra fun! What I really adore about Champion Gear is that the clothes keep you dry.  The materials they use wicks away moisture and makes you less sticky, which I like because I sweat when I workout. YUK! As a mom of three with a house to run and a needy husband (LOL), I'm usually … [Read more...]

How the Monkey Bars Are Making My Daughter Feel Fat…at 6 Years Old!

I don't know what it is in this day and age that more and more little girls everywhere are calling themselves fat. Is it society's fault? Is it the parent's fault? No! Apparently it's the monkey bars fault! Well, in this case. Yesterday my daughter came home from school, gave me her usual daily after-school kiss and hug and asked me a question that I was not prepared for. "Mommy, how do you get skinny fast?" I was dumbfounded. Where did this come from? Did her … [Read more...]

Wordless Wednesday: There’s Always a Rainbow in the End

A few days ago, my son took this photo with his cell phone. After a night of disappointment and confusion, I'm looking for that rainbow in the end. HAPPY WEDNESDAY EVERYONE! … [Read more...]

Dan-o-nino Yogurt Snacks | Review & a $50 Visa Gift Card Giveaway

If my little one was lactose-intolerant, she would be highly disappointed.  At home we call her the dairy queen simply because she loves almost any food that is made with dairy.  I'm talking about all types of cheeses, milk (if I leave it up to her, she'll drink milk all day long!), ice cream -- basically anything that is milk-based, she loves. Dan-o-nino isn't new to my daughter. I've been buying them for awhile now. It's one of her favorite snacks to take for school and she loves to eat … [Read more...]

Starting The Autumn Season with Hot Apple Cider K-Cup® Portion Packs

Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn! Today is the first day of Autumn.  It's a pretty warm day in New York with scattered showers over the state but its finally starting to feel like Fall, one of my favorite seasons. The best part about living in the Hudson Valley is that we have lots of Apple Orchards to choose from.  My family and I love to go Apple Picking.  It's one of the many activities we enjoy doing as a family.  We can pick our own apples, taste some freshly squeezed apple cider and … [Read more...]

Donut House Collection: How To Eat a Donut Without The Calories

As you may already know, I am a proud K-Cup® Ambassador. I've been a Keurig Brewer owner for over 2 years and its made me an even bigger coffee addict. Before owning a Keurig Brewer, I would waste coffee left and right.  You see, I'm the only one who drinks coffee from a "coffee machine."  My husband is an avid coffee drinker as well but he prefers instant. Blah! I despise instant coffee so I would always make 3-4 cups of coffee a day and throw out about half.  Not by choice -- it would … [Read more...]

ABC’s Charlie’s Angels Premieres Tonite! (& a Sephora Giveaway Valued at $100)

{Giveaway is now closed. #41 is the lucky winner! It's Sujeiry! Congrats!} If you're a child from the 70's like I am, then you've seen the original show, Charlie's Angels with Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith with their beautiful layered hair and their style of kicking ass. I loved that show. Even as a little girl, I would pretend being one of the angels whenever I would watch it. Throwing high kicks with my skinny legs and landing on the sofa pretending I captured one of the bad guys. Yeah, I … [Read more...]

Back To A Routine

Things haven't been so easy here ever since school started. Slowly but surely we are going back to a routine that works and makes everyone happy. Usually it's the kids that make it difficult to find a routine that works but I'm the one having a hard time with a routine. Funny, uh? Why is that? I'm getting a good night's sleep thanks to a great new mattress but when my kids get home from school, it's pure mayhem.  I'm frazzled and got a million things on my mind and I just can't figure it … [Read more...]
