If my little one was lactose-intolerant, she would be highly disappointed. At home we call her the dairy queen simply because she loves almost any food that is made with dairy. I’m talking about all types of cheeses, milk (if I leave it up to her, she’ll drink milk all day long!), ice cream — basically anything that is milk-based, she loves.
Dan-o-nino isn’t new to my daughter. I’ve been buying them for awhile now. It’s one of her favorite snacks to take for school and she loves to eat them after school as well.
When I brought Dan-o-nino home from our local supermarket a few days ago, she was ecstatic. She even hums the song she hears from the commercial as she eats the cute little yogurt snacks. I don’t mind if she eats two a day because it contains 2X the calcium of other leading kids yogurts PLUS Vitamin D and protein. At only 60 calories, no artificial colors or flavors and no high fructose syrup, it’s the perfect snack anytime of the day.
Dan-o-nino cups are available in 6-packs, 12-packs, club packs and in six flavors: Strawberry, Vanilla, Raspberry, Peach, Strawberry Banana, Banana
Check her out in this “spur of the moment” video on why she likes Dan-o-nino yogurt:

My kids have developed a taste for rice cakes with peanut butter. As long as I can give them something they already love, they are more apt to try something new. 🙂
