Special K Resolution Challenge: I Stepped on a Scale in Times Square!

Yes, I did. For once this wasn't your typical scale with numbers that tell you your weight -- instead it was a scale that showed each individual inspirational words or phrases.  Now if it were a "real" scale with numbers, then that would be a whole other story but it wasn't so bad stepping on a scale in front of people in Times Square.  It was quite liberating to be honest. The Special K Team was there to launch their "What will you gain when you lose" campaign to help women get inspired … [Read more...]

Well, that's it folks. The last post of the year. Goodbye 2010. Hello 2011. Special K Resolution Challenge: What Will You Gain When You Lose?

Are you starting a new resolution for the new year? If so, you're one of the many that will be. The top New Year's resolutions are losing weight, quit smoking, exercise more and of course, save money. This year, I'm not making any resolutions. Why? Making Over My Fridge With the Help of I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter

This past November I was given the opportunity to makeover my fridge with the help of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.  They helped me by providing some useful tools and some very needed information on how to deep clean my fridge and how to store foods. I chose to really deep clean my fridge right before Thanksgiving because my menu was full of delicious meals that would definitely leave leftovers for the weekend so I needed all the room that I can get. With 3 kids, a husband and … [Read more...]

Secret Santa with T.J. Maxx & Marshalls

It's been a long time since I participated in Secret Santa. I remember in college, my friends and I got together and we decided on playing Secret Santa one year to save some money.  We agreed on having $10 as the limit. We placed all the names of the girls participating in a hat and each of us chose one name each. When it was time to give each other gifts, some of us knew who their Secret Santa was already.  It was a lot of fun. Recently, RocketXL contacted me and asked if I wanted to par … [Read more...]

The Disney Holiday Blogger Event in New York City

Out of all the blogger events I've attended in the past (and I've been to plenty of events), Disney is by far my favorite event to go to. It's kid-friendly, full of treats and Disney always provides wonderful activities that are perfect for both parent & child.  Disney definitely knows how to bring out the kid in every single adult, such as me. The Disney Holiday Blogger Event's main goal was to showcase their new games, like EPIC Mickey for Wii, new movies such as The Search for Santa … [Read more...]
