Today Was An Unexpected “Take Your Daughter To Work Day”

And not by choice! This morning I was shocked to hear my little one had a half day of school. Usually when she has half days, I makes plans with her sitter or my husband. But being that my husband's unit was deployed to help with the disaster that Hurricane Sandy left behind, I was left to my own devices. Whoever thought of the saying "Time Flies," is brilliant! Because that's exactly what it does -- it flies by SO QUICK!  With a blink of an eye -- BOOM, it's six months later since this post. Out of Sight, Out of Mind…

You're heard of this saying: out of sight, out of mind -- right? That quote says it all about my blogging life as well as my home life. As you may know, I started working full time three months ago. The first month was extremely hectic for me. I was not used to being in an office for eight hours a day AND not being home when the kids arrived from school. I was exhausted.
