Ramblings: My Mommy Guilt Trip Has Hit Once Again
It's hard being a full-time working mom. I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it. Before I took time off when my youngest was born, I worked for about 4 years straight. It wasn't bad at all. I loved it! I started work at 8am and was on my way home by 3pm. It was great! I had time to clean the house a bit and start dinner before my kids got off the bus. Working at a school definitely had its perks. Nowadays, I'm working from 8-5pm, I get home by 5:30-6, start dinner and by the time I'm … [Read more...]
{Review} The Snugg iPad 2 Executive Case Cover and Stand in Black Leather
I recently received the Snugg iPad 2 Executive Case Cover and Stand in black leather for review and allow me to say that I am completely in love with it. I'm a proud owner of an iPad for about two years now and have been through iPad cases like crazy. Being a frugal mom, I haven't invested a lot of money on iPad cases. The people representing Thyme Maternity at Getting Gorgeous were awesome! They were full of information and … [Read more...]

Let’s Talk About Date Night
Ahhh Date night -- It's a wonderful thing between two people or sometimes more. It's a time where you can just hang out, have a few drinks, eat and relax. It's especially wonderful when you can talk to your spouse without any interruptions from the kids and just talk about ANYTHING on date night. THAT is our dilemma. But isn't that the main reason couples go on date night anyway? To be alone as husband and wife. To listen to each other as a lover and friend? To remind one another that … [Read more...]
