Disney Cruise Line: From The Big Apple to The Lone Star State and Beyond

Did you hear the big news from the Disney Cruise Line?  Thank goodness I get updated emails from Disney Cruise Line because I'm what they call a "Silver Castaway member", having sailed back in 2002. They have announced they will be sailing from the Big Apple aka New York City, Galveston, Texas, Seattle and Los Angeles, California next Spring! That's right folks, in 2012.  Being a New Yorker, I am ecstatic that Disney will be sailing from New York City, which means no airfare for many people.  … [Read more...]

Changes For The #DisneySMMoms Conference

Next week, I will be in Orlando for my second blog conference, the Disney Social Media Moms Conference.  I'll be in Orlando for 4 days and I'm so excited to go.  Since I started blogging, I have only been to one conference which is BlogHer 10' and it was awesome. A bit overwhelming but I learned a lot.  I'm so ready to network, meet other bloggers and spend some time at the greatest place on earth, Walt Disney World. Unfortunately things have changed since my last post about the conference. … [Read more...]

I’m Attending The Gnomeo and Juliet Red Carpet Premiere in HOLLYWOOD!

I cannot believe I'll be leaving tomorrow morning on a jet-plane to go across the country to California -- by myself!  Is this a dream? Not anymore! ;) A few weeks ago I received an email from Disney inviting me to the Red Carpet Premiere for Gnomeo and Juliet.  It couldn't have come at a better time because it was right after Christmas. Special K Resolution Challenge: I Stepped on a Scale in Times Square!

Yes, I did. For once this wasn't your typical scale with numbers that tell you your weight -- instead it was a scale that showed each individual inspirational words or phrases.  Now if it were a "real" scale with numbers, then that would be a whole other story but it wasn't so bad stepping on a scale in front of people in Times Square.  It was quite liberating to be honest. The Special K Team was there to launch their "What will you gain when you lose" campaign to help women get inspired … [Read more...]
