The Good and The Bad of BlogHer ’10 – August 6-7

I can't believe it! I did it! I survived BlogHer '10. If you haven't heard what BlogHer is (who hasn't?), it's a blogging conference where women (& some dad bloggers too) gather together and share their views and opinions on anything and everything through their blogs.  They blog about parenting, cooking, places to see and eat, traveling -- basically anything you can think of, someone is blogging about it. The conference is an event that happens once a year since 2005 and it consists of … [Read more...]

Oxy Clinical is an over-the-counter acne medication that offers breakthrough complexion care, providing pharmaceutical-grade medications and continuous-release technology to treat, heal and help prevent acne … [Read more...]

The American Museum of Natural History Introduces Their New Explorer App

Yesterday I attended an event at the Museum of Natural History for their media preview to showcase their newest and latest creation - The Explorer App for iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch. The app is amazing and if you have either of these devices; iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, you won't need the paper map and we can all help save some trees by not using the map. How's that for helping the planet? ;) Earlier this year, the museum launched its first iPhone app - Dinosaurs: The American Museum of … [Read more...]

Tide Acti-Lift Presents The Premiere of “Ramona And Beezus”

(Note: Post is long with photos & video so please make sure to check those out! Thanks.) Waking up at 6 am is something I usually don't like doing in the summer. I'm a wahm (p/t)  so the summer days for us are also lazy days. We go to sleep late from watching TV, movies or playing games and usually the kids are sleeping til 9am. This past Tuesday was exceptionally different. Several days ago I received an invitation from a representative of Tide detergent about the upcoming advanced … [Read more...]

Wordful Wednesday ~ Meet & Greet With Selena Gomez & Joey King at Madison Square Park {linky}

It was all about my girls yesterday at Madison Square Park.  They had a once-in-a-lifetime experience they will never forget.  They both met two of their favorite actresses: Selena Gomez & Joey King. Both photos above "almost" didn't happen. Read on to find out what happened. The first one with Selena: I respectfully asked one of the bodyguards if I can take a pic of my girls with Selena, he replied back with a firm no but seconds later, Selena decided to say c'mon girls, and I took the … [Read more...]

Special Offers For IKEA Lovers (NY/NJ)

When I first moved in with my husband (back when we were boyfriend/girlfriend) we fell in love with IKEA's style so basically our whole apartment came from IKEA.  The furniture was cheap, pretty good quality and very hip and stylish.  Everyone that would come over loved every piece of furniture, bookcase and/or picture frame. They couldn't believe it all came from IKEA. I wanted to share with all of you that IKEA is having two great promotions going on this week. One will be held in their … [Read more...]

Look Out World, Here I come: New York Adventure Kit | Review

A few months ago, I was sent Look Out World, Here I Come: New York Adventure Kit for my 5 year old daughter. It wasn't until just a few weeks that we actually took a look at it and I'm so upset that we didn't see it sooner. Living in New York has made us appreciate the city even more now. If you're planning a getaway to the Big Apple and you have young children, this 36-page activity-filled, city-themed book is perfect. It also comes with a DVD so New York City comes alive right before … [Read more...]
