Verizon FiOS: Triple Play, Triple Happy…..And Now With Apps! #MC

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a Test Drive campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Verizon FiOS and received a free trial of the products and services necessary to facilitate my review. Since June of this year, my family and I have been happy campers since I made the switch to Verizon FiOS Triple Play from Time Warner and I have to be honest and say we are loving the change.  We have nothing but great service, great TV shows/movies and lightening fast internet … [Read more...]

I Won An iPad!

Ha! ...in my dreams. Okay, seriously, I had a dream that I won an iPad last night. I woke up this morning so happy but than I realize it was just a dream. Boo hoo! Ever since its debut, I've been dreaming about owning an iPad. I've heard some people say it's just an iPod Touch but bigger. Well of course it is but it's much better! The screen is humongous and it's just the right size to view movies, which I love to do. Can you tell I want one really bad? Hopefully I get a chance to … [Read more...]

HP Photosmart Premium Touchsmart Web All-in-One Printer | Review

  I was first introduced to the HP Touchsmart Web All-in-One printer when I was invited to see a few showcased at a blog event in conjunction with viewing A Christmas Carol movie in 3D last November. It was love at first sight. Every since I was a pc owner (since 98'), I've been an HP printer customer. For some reason, HP printers do not disappoint in any way. Before receiving the HP Touchsmart printer for review several months ago (this review is WAY overdue!), we were proud … [Read more...]

The American Museum of Natural History Introduces Their New Explorer App

Yesterday I attended an event at the Museum of Natural History for their media preview to showcase their newest and latest creation - The Explorer App for iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch. The app is amazing and if you have either of these devices; iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, you won't need the paper map and we can all help save some trees by not using the map. How's that for helping the planet? ;) Earlier this year, the museum launched its first iPhone app - Dinosaurs: The American Museum of … [Read more...]

Wordless Wednesday ~ That Pink Thing {Linky}

I finally got an iPod Touch for Christmas after asking for one for months from my husband.  Ever since that "dreadful day" (as my husband calls it), I have been addicted. Everywhere I go, I have it in my hands. If we're watching a movie, I have it.  If we're in the car and he's driving, I have it.  I try to hide it but I'm always caught.  If we're sitting on the sofa, he'll look towards me and and if I have it in my hands, he'll say this, "You have that pink thing in your hands again?" Never … [Read more...]

“There’s An App for That”: New York City Edition

Apple has turned iPhone/iPod Touch users crazy with literally thousands of apps available to download. Whether it’s free or a hundred bucks, people are going nuts over apps.  Ever since I got my new iPod Touch for my birthday, I have been going “app crazy” too.  I can’t help it.  I have apps for games, social media, emails, coupons, recipes and even apps for everything in New York City.   The list can go on and on. The best apps, in my opinion, are the ones that are free because if you don’t … [Read more...]
