How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days Deluxe Edition | Movie Review
How to lose a guy in 10 days Deluxe Edition makes its move onto DVD and Blu-ray in an all-new Deluxe Edition arriving August 18, 2009 from Paramount Home Entertainment. The Tiger’s Tail | Movie Review
It's Movie Tuesday!!! Last night, my husband and I saw The Tiger's Tail. It's a drama-thriller type movie. It should not be seen with kids because of its rating (R). It truly is an adult movie. There's no sex (well, one sex scene but no nudity was seen) or anything provocative, it's just that they wouldn't understand and they'll probably fall asleep anyway. The movie is based in Dublin, Ireland, starring Kim Cattrall (Jane O'Leary), Brendan Gleeson (Liam O'Leary), Ciaran Hinds (Father … [Read more...]
Sears Can Get Your Child Campus Ready!
(This post was sponsored by Sears. All the opinions are mine.) I miss the good ol' days of dorming when I was in college. Although I only dormed freshmen & sophomore year, I have to be honest and say that it was the best 2 years of my life. I think it's a great experience for kids to dorm because they can learn alot about their individuality and at the same time get an education. It's also a time when they become independent too. I know I did. The best part about dorming was buying … [Read more...]
Stonyfield Farms Organic YoBaby Yogurt | Review & Giveaway!
The people at Stonyfield Farm's sent me some free coupons to try out their lines of organic baby food, "YoBaby 3-in-1 Meals" and their organic yogurt. I know my youngest is four years old but she LOVES yogurt and pureed fruits. She still eats Prunes & Applesauce from the baby aisle. I give it to her because sometimes she can be a picky eater and it helps her be "regular". The only item that I could find at Stop and Shop was the YoBaby Organic Yogurt. I found out later over at … [Read more...]
Ecostore USA | Review & Giveaway!
I was contacted by EcostoreUSA recently to try out a couple of products. The products I chose were the Manuka Sandalwood Shampoo and the Manuka Sandalwood Conditioner because sometimes I have dry, itchy scalp. So, I wanted to see if another product worked well other than my original anti-dandruff shampoo (Head and Shoulders). As soon as I received the products, I was eager to try it out. With almost everything that I buy, I have to sniff it; especially if it's for the hair (yes, I'm … [Read more...]
French Toast & Pepperidge Farm.
Today I made French Toast with the help of Pepperridge Farm Cinnamon Swirl Bread. It is absolutely amazing! We are all addicted to this bread because it's so delicious! You can eat it plain or make French Toast like I did. If you love French Toast like we do, then you have to try this recipe. It's so much better then plain ol' bread and it's so simple to make. (I didn't measure anything but this is what I did) Ingredients ~The Star - Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Bread. ~3 … [Read more...]
EA Sports Active 30-Day Challenge – Update
I FAILED!!!!!! That's right people, you read it right. I failed the 30 day challenge. I couldn't help it. I let everything in life come between exercising and getting into shape. It started with severe pain in my knees and then sharp pains in my back. I also couldn't do the lunges the right way and my "trainer" kept telling me that I was doing it wrong (I must be getting old :/). So I stopped. I couldn't continue exercising because I was in too much pain whenever I did the … [Read more...]
The Disappointment Continues.
It's just not fair to go through so many disappointments in one week. It's not but I guess that's inevitable. So, I finally saw Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince last night. It was OK. I liked it but...ok, I have to be honest here....I really didn't like it. I still feel the need to watch a Harry Potter movie. This one left me wanting more and I didn't get that, unfortunately. It's sad because my family and I are HUGE fans and the only one that really enjoyed it was my 12 year old … [Read more...]
