Ecostore USA | Review & Giveaway!

I was contacted by EcostoreUSA recently to try out a couple of products.  The products I chose were the Manuka Sandalwood Shampoo and the Manuka Sandalwood Conditioner because sometimes I have dry, itchy scalp. So, I wanted to see if another product worked well other than my original anti-dandruff shampoo (Head and Shoulders).

As soon as I received the products, I was eager to try it out.  With almost everything that I buy, I have to sniff it; especially if it’s for the hair (yes, I’m weird).  I can’t help it.  I love when my hair smells good.

When I opened the bottle, the shampoo smelled very woodsy and minty.  Not something that I would normally buy, but I wanted to give it a try anyway.

That night, I decided to wash my hair with my new shampoo and conditioner. After a few seconds of washing my hair, I can smell the aroma of the woods,  mint and even citrus.  At first, I didn’t like the smell because I am used to the smell of Pantene (which smells floral & like perfume) but when I washed it a second time, I fell in love with it. My husband even uses it.  He says the smell reminds him of camping (and he loves camping out in the woods).  It smells natural, pure and contain no sulfates (my favorite part).

The fact that the shampoo contains no sulfates and no nasty chemicals is great because I have naturally curly hair that dries out very easily and sulfates can dry out the hair (as everyone knows).  I also color my hair so this shampoo and conditioner will definitely not strip my hair’s color.

I also have to state that after using this shampoo/conditioner, my scalp is clean (it really cleans well), itch-free and is not dry at all.  I was really happy with the results.

The other thing that surprised me was that I was able to read all of the ingredients in the products.  That’s not the case when you buy other products for your hair.
