If you read my post from last week than you already know that I was one of the co-hosts for the Hebrew National Better-Than-A-Picnic Picnic. I finally got an iPod Touch for Christmas after asking for one for months from my husband. Ever since that "dreadful day" (as my husband calls it), I have been addicted. Everywhere I go, I have it in my hands. If we're watching a movie, I have it. If we're in the car and he's driving, I have it. I try to hide it but I'm always caught. This past Mother's Day was one of my favorite Mother's Day because I woke up to breakfast in bed and lots of love. My kids and husband were extremely happy that I appreciated everything too. Sorry for the delay folks but I was out practically all week preparing for the weekend. My family got together this past Saturday to celebrate my grandmother's 74th birthday at her house so I was quite the busy bee. Last Friday, my sister and I ventured out to Hoboken, N.J. to pick up her birthday cake. She wanted no other cake but from Carlo's Bake Shop. After we picked up the cake, we headed out to the city to celebrate her last year being in her twenties at Iguana's Cafe in New York City with our friends and family. A Look on What We Did for Easter.

This year we decided to stay home on Easter and spend time with the kids. Usually we go out to an Easter egg hunt, go to church (a rarely thing) or go to family's house. We knew it would be a beautiful day in New York but we were in the mood to just relax before the hectic week of going back to the grind of school and work.
