My fellow bloggy friend Jenifa over at The Dirty Shirt is having a delicious giveaway. With the help of Shoffee.com, she's giving away one Keurig B40 Elite Brewer to one lucky reader. I have been DYING to buy one of these because the coffee tastes so good. I was lucky enough to try a sample cup at my local BJ's Wholesale Store during their promotions and I fell in love with the taste and how fast you can have your cup of coffee but with a tight budget, things don't always work out for … [Read more...]
Ecostore USA | Review & Giveaway!
I was contacted by EcostoreUSA recently to try out a couple of products. The products I chose were the Manuka Sandalwood Shampoo and the Manuka Sandalwood Conditioner because sometimes I have dry, itchy scalp. So, I wanted to see if another product worked well other than my original anti-dandruff shampoo (Head and Shoulders). As soon as I received the products, I was eager to try it out. With almost everything that I buy, I have to sniff it; especially if it's for the hair (yes, I'm … [Read more...]
French Toast & Pepperidge Farm.
Today I made French Toast with the help of Pepperridge Farm Cinnamon Swirl Bread. It is absolutely amazing! We are all addicted to this bread because it's so delicious! You can eat it plain or make French Toast like I did. If you love French Toast like we do, then you have to try this recipe. It's so much better then plain ol' bread and it's so simple to make. (I didn't measure anything but this is what I did) Ingredients ~The Star - Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Bread. ~3 … [Read more...]
Wordless Wednesday – Hudson River | Bowdoin Park
A few days ago, I took the kids out to the park to have a picnic. It wasn't a sunny day but it was a beautiful day. It wasn't hot, humid or sticky. The day was nice and cool; just the way I like it. … [Read more...]

EA Sports Active 30-Day Challenge – Update
I FAILED!!!!!! That's right people, you read it right. I failed the 30 day challenge. I couldn't help it. I let everything in life come between exercising and getting into shape. It started with severe pain in my knees and then sharp pains in my back. I also couldn't do the lunges the right way and my "trainer" kept telling me that I was doing it wrong (I must be getting old :/). So I stopped. I couldn't continue exercising because I was in too much pain whenever I did the … [Read more...]

Everyone loves chocolate, right? I know I do. I have to eat chocolate every week. I know it's fattening but it relaxes me. So when I do have the urge to eat chocolate, I always go for Hershey's. If You Like Elle Magazine & Express, Then You’re In For A Nice Surprise!
In the August edition of Elle Magazine, there is a coupon card for a free t-shirt. It's their way of supporting text-free driving. They want us to focus on driving so that we can get to our destination safely (we should already be doing this). This is their motto that they want us to follow (and should be): I promise to stop, hang up, focus, and just drive. I vow to hit the road now and text later! By showing your support, all you have to do is take the card to any Express store, buy a … [Read more...]
Wordless Wednesday – Statued House
I was visiting my mom in the Bronx a few days ago and I came across this house near Pelham Parkway. I had to take a picture because I have never seen a house with so many statues. They practically take over the house. It's like you don't even look at the house because the statues are right there staring at you. I wanted to knock on the door and ask what was the purpose for all the statues but I couldn't; I didn't have the "balls" (excuse my french, lol). … [Read more...]
The Disappointment Continues.
It's just not fair to go through so many disappointments in one week. It's not but I guess that's inevitable. So, I finally saw Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince last night. It was OK. I liked it but...ok, I have to be honest here....I really didn't like it. I still feel the need to watch a Harry Potter movie. This one left me wanting more and I didn't get that, unfortunately. It's sad because my family and I are HUGE fans and the only one that really enjoyed it was my 12 year old … [Read more...]
