Wordless Wednesday – Making New Friends

My 4 year old always seems to make friends where ever she goes.  She is so opposite of her mother.  I tend to chat with the person for awhile and see if we have anything in common and then I'll make a decision whether or not I want to be friends with that person. But not my daughter. Check out the friends she met this past weekend while at Old Navy. I hope you enjoyed my Wordless Wednesday. My kids and I had a great laugh with these photos, especially when we were in the … [Read more...]

French Toast & Pepperidge Farm.

Today I made French Toast with the help of Pepperridge Farm Cinnamon Swirl Bread. It is absolutely amazing!  We are all addicted to this bread because it's so delicious!  You can eat it plain or make French Toast like I did. If you love French Toast like we do, then you have to try this recipe.  It's so much better then plain ol' bread and it's so simple to make. (I didn't measure anything but this is what I did) Ingredients ~The Star - Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Bread. ~3 … [Read more...]

Wordless Wednesday – Hudson River | Bowdoin Park

A few days ago, I took the kids out to the park to have a picnic. It wasn't a sunny day but it was a beautiful day. It wasn't hot, humid or sticky. The day was nice and cool; just the way I like it. … [Read more...]

Wordless Wednesday – Statued House

I was visiting my mom in the Bronx a few days ago and I came across this house near Pelham Parkway.  I had to take a picture because I have never seen a house with so many statues.  They practically take over the house.  It's like you don't even look at the house because the statues are right there staring at you.  I wanted to knock on the door and ask what was the purpose for all the statues but I couldn't; I didn't have the "balls" (excuse my french, lol). … [Read more...]

When You Have Kids, There’s Always Room For Disappointments.

Unfortunately, that's life when you have kids. Here's why... My family and I had plans to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince today. We had it planned since Wednesday, which was the official start day for the movie.  We also wanted to make Sunday a "Family Fun Movie Day" since my husband has been working so much lately.  It's really his only day off out of the week. We were all excited to see it, including my 4 year old. She especially loves Harry Potter.  I think it's because … [Read more...]

My baby is famous!

The wonderful people over at LeTop has featured my daughter at their site.  They surprised me yet again with an e-mail stating to check out their site.  I almost forgot they were going to feature her with the dress on. Just in case you don't remember the day I won the dress, click HERE to view the post and refresh your memory.  The dress is beautiful and it is of great quality too. I am really happy my daughter is still in love with her dress.  I'm in love with it too. To think that my … [Read more...]

I just had to share this with the world!

I've been neglecting my site because of so many reasons. The kids are home all.day.long, we're rarely home and when I am home, I have no time to concentrate (like right now, they're goofing around). I have so many things to write about but when it comes down to putting it all into words and complete sentences, I go blank. Hopefully that will change real soon. Anyway, I wanted to share some funny news with you all.  As I was dressing my 4 year old daughter, she noticed some words on her … [Read more...]

Happy 4th of July – The Year 1995

I was looking through old photos and I found these below that were taken near the 4th Of July in 1995.  This was a year before I had my son and when hubby and I were just dating; dating for 5 years to be exact. It was a great day. The sun was shining, people were full of so much joy and the Twin Towers were standing up high and proud. Ahhh, the good ol' days... Oh, how I miss them. So I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Have a wonderful 4th Of July everyone! *double-click the … [Read more...]

Happy “Late” Father’s Day

(This post was scheduled for Monday but for some reason, it was never posted, so here it is.....days later) This past Sunday was a very special day to all the Dad's out there that are active in their kid's life.  I say "active" because there are many father's out there that don't even acknowledge that they have kids so the moms have to be both Mom and Dad. So to those moms, Happy Father's Day to you too!  I hope it was a good day. I was one of the lucky ones. My Dad was a wonderful … [Read more...]
