What a wonderful day! The kids are back at school (YAY!!!) and the house is full of silence. Now I can get my "MOJO" back because for some strange reason, when the kids are here, I have no energy whatsoever. It's like I become this lazy person I don't want to be. I hate that. Kids are absolutely wonderful but they can really deplete your energy. When they're not here, all the energy comes back to me and I clean like crazy! I love that. Happy Holidays everyone!! In my family, we always celebrate on Christmas Day. Occasionally we celebrate Christmas Eve (Noche Buena) but this year (b/c of the weather), we're celebrating on Xmas Day. We're not having alot of people over, just my 3 sisters. They're coming over tomorrow afternoon. So that means I'll be cooking with hubby tomorrow morning. These are a few of the pictures that I took when we went Apple and Pumpkin picking on Sunday. We were at the DuBois Farms and we had such a great time. We had great weather too. They had so many different types of apples. Granny Smith, Empires, Macintosh, Golden Delicious and much more. The Golden Delicious was indeed all of our favorites. It was sweet, crisp and very juicy.
