12 years ago today, I was in labor with my son. I can't believe my baby, my first born is 12 years old today. How time flew by. One more year and he'll be an official teenager. Geez, I'm getting old. Why is it when you are alone, with no kids or your spouse in the house; you feel alive, free and calm. But after a few hours, you start to feel lonely, bored and sad. Today is a beautiful day outside but I feel so lazy inside. I just want to sit around in quietness and just listen to nature. The birds are singing, bugs are making noise and the trees are swaying in the nice cool wind. Quietness is NOT possible with 3 kids, a dog and a mother-in-law.
