Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams | Movie Review

Disney does it once again. Disney always seems to please people of all ages, especially us. This movie was a HUGE hit at my house. My daughters, a few of her friends and I LOVED it. We had a popcorn and movie night a few days ago and we all had fun. I've always loved the Disney princesses so this movie took me back to my childhood.  It was nice to "give" that same feeling to my own daughters.  My 10 year old was amazed that I still like Disney movies being that I'm old a mother but do we … [Read more...]

I've got to give it to Disney, they really know how to make movies enjoyable for both the parents and kids. Here are some movies we've seen in the past week: … [Read more...]

Boot Camp | Movie Review

My family and I are movie gurus. We watch movies all the time, especially on the weekends.  It's a great way to spend time with your family and save money too. A couple of weeks ago, I received Boot Camp to review so my  husband and I decided to watch it last night. I saw the trailer on Youtube before so I knew I would enjoy this movie, especially since I have a teenager now. Here's the summary of the movie below: A group of troubled teens are sent to a rehabilitation program housed in a … [Read more...]

The Tiger’s Tail | Movie Review

It's Movie Tuesday!!! Last night, my husband and I saw The Tiger's Tail.  It's a drama-thriller type movie. It should not be seen with kids because of its rating (R). It truly is an adult movie. There's no sex (well, one sex scene but no nudity was seen)  or anything provocative, it's just that they wouldn't understand and they'll probably fall asleep anyway. The movie is based in Dublin, Ireland, starring Kim Cattrall (Jane O'Leary), Brendan Gleeson (Liam O'Leary), Ciaran Hinds (Father … [Read more...]

The Disappointment Continues.

It's just not fair to go through so many disappointments in one week.  It's not but I guess that's inevitable. So, I finally saw Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince last night.  It was OK.  I liked it but...ok, I have to be honest here....I really didn't like it.  I still feel the need to watch a Harry Potter movie.  This one left me wanting more and I didn't get that, unfortunately.  It's sad because my family and I are HUGE fans and the only one that really enjoyed it was my 12 year old … [Read more...]

Woo Hoo! Hells Kitchen: Season 6 Is Only A Day Away!

I don't care what anybody says, Chef Gordon Ramsey is one of the best chefs out there!  I LOVE Chef Gordon Ramsey. He loves his kitchens to be spotless, his food to be perfect and his chefs to be the best! He's a tell-it-like-it-is kind-of person and I love that.  Yes, he screams at the top of his lungs when he doesn't like a dish that you should be an expert on  and yes, he makes people feel like crap... BUT, if you don't have to cook for him, he can be the sweetest guy you could ever … [Read more...]
