My son is 13 years old today. I can't believe this. It's official. I'm a mom of a teenager! I know I'm not that old but I sure do feel old. I was 21 when I had him. August 18, 1994 That is the date my father passed away. 15 years ago. I still can't believe he's gone. No one knew it was coming; it was a very sad surprise. He died exactly one week after we came back from Orlando, Florida. A vacation he planned for a couple of years for my sister and I. After his sudden death, the whole family was stunned. Yup! That's what my kids think (& say behind their breath) by they way they huff and puff when I tell them to do chores and stuff around the house. You wanna know what I make them do? Here's the list (and it's not every.single.day!): I make them brush their teeth. Take showers everyday (if I'm lucky!) They MUST clean their own rooms. My son (12 yrs.) has trash duty everyday! My 4 year old always seems to make friends where ever she goes. She is so opposite of her mother. Today I made French Toast with the help of Pepperridge Farm Cinnamon Swirl Bread. It is absolutely amazing! We are all addicted to this bread because it's so delicious!
