I really don’t believe in horoscopes but….

this one caught my eye.  With my birthday coming up on Tuesday, I'm thinking about lots of things.  For instance, there are some people in my life I thought were there for me but I guess I was wrong.  Anyway, that may be another post.  I don't want to get into something like that right now. So check it out: Sagittarius (11/22-12/21) You don't need people in your life who disappoint you over and over again, so have a talk today with that person who is always all talk and no action. Let … [Read more...]

I’ve been feeling under the weather.

I haven't been feeling too well. That is why I haven't been posting on my blog.  I think it's just a cold with a sore throat and nasty non-stop cough that keeps me up at night.  I've been a walking zombie during the day because of it too. I also wanted to let my readers know that I did call the lady to thank her and I was relieved I did.  She sounded so sweet and nice.  She was also glad that I called her to let her know I received it.  We didn't talk very much but I did ask her if Snapfish … [Read more...]

Christmas at my house ALSO means Hunting Season

Living with a Deer Hunter isn't easy.  I should know, I'm married to a one.  You have to deal with many things; the hunting clothes, the smell, the mess, the grouchy-husband-because-he-is-so-tired-from-waking-up-at-2AM-to-be-up-on-the-tree-at- 5-6AM, and of course the dead deer in your yard.  The best part about that is the meat.  We have meat to last us all winter, which is good for our pockets too. I have to tell you though, hunting clothes and the products that go along with hunting are … [Read more...]

A weird thing happened to me

I received a package last night from Snapfish, supposedly.  Their name and their address was on the right top of the box.   At first, I thought it was another book hubby bought from Ebay and the person reused the Snapfish box but that wasn't the case.  Anyway, I opened the package and inside was a handwritten note, a Snapfish receipt with my information on it and a copy of the photobook I had made a few weeks ago.  I asked myself,  did I order another photobook without realizing it?  I know I … [Read more...]

Tips for Savvy Toy Shopping

I don't have to tell you that we are facing some tough economical times in the months and years ahead. With a worldwide economic recession an arms width away, shopping for holiday gifts is a frightening prospect for many parents. Retailers are scared too and as a result are offering up great deals on many of today’s popular toys and games. When it comes to bargain hunting, it pays to shop around. Parents - do your research just as you would for a bigger-ticket item like a washer/dryer or HD TV. … [Read more...]

It’s Cyber Monday!

For those of you that don't know about Cyber Monday, well, it's alot like Black Friday.  The best part is you don't have to leave your house.  Now that's what I call Black Friday shopping!! Almost every online store is having a great sale that is only valid for today.  Walmart is having a pretty good Cyber Monday sale too.  I just bought my 3 year old daughter a Leapster 2 handheld learning game for $69.99 and they included 2 games that are valued at $25 each.   That is a $50 savings.  They … [Read more...]
