If you’re a true lover of anything chocolate, THE Chocolate Show is definitely for you! Where can you find a place that will be filled with all kinds of chocolate for a full four days? At the New York Chocolate Show of course!
About the Chocolate Show:
Founded in 1997 by Sylvie Douce and François Jeantet, two French entrepreneurs with a great passion for chocolate, The Chocolate Show was quickly adopted by New York City as one of its favorite shows, and has become the largest and one of the most popular events devoted to chocolate in the United States. The New York Chocolate Show is one of many international Salon du Chocolat events produced annually by Sylvie Douce and François Jeantet. In 2010, shows will be presented in Paris, Tokyo and six cities in Japan, Shanghai, Madrid, Cairo and Moscow.
This year, the 13th annual chocolate show will be held at the Metropolitan Pavillion on 18th Street in New York City.
There you’ll be able to taste and savor the richness of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and bittersweet indulgent confections from over 65 fine chocolate companies.
The days events include The Young Chefs Academy KidZone where attendees will decorate Thanksgiving- themed holiday cupcakes, learn how to make fresh chocolate pasta with a pasta bike, and create chocolate art with edible chocolate “paint.”
Additionally, there will be cupcake decorating with award winning pastry chef Martin Howard and candy decorating with Dylan Lauren, owner of Dylan’s Candy Bar.
The Chocolate Show will be open Thursday (November 11), Friday (November 12) and Saturday (November 13) from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. To purchase tickets and for additional information, schedules and exhibitors, please visit the Chocolate Show Web site at www.chocolateshow.com.
Are you filled with excitement yet? I sure am!
Tickets are $28 but you can win a pair of tickets to the chocolate show. Now isn’t winning better than purchasing them yourself? 😉
The best part of The Chocolate Show? Children are free with a two child per adult limit, $8 per additional child (5 years to 12 years).
