When I think about creating recipes for my family, I usually wing it. Whatever I have on-hand is usually what I work with. It can't be too complicated or difficult to make and it must be simple and easy so I can feed my family of five quickly. A 3-day weekend is a big deal for us. It's an extra day to sleep in, to enjoy each others company and just relax. It also means a 4-day work week! YAY! So I took advantage and made plans to spend time with my two favorite girls, my daughters.
