Yesterday was Mother's Day so I hope all of my blog mommies had a wonderful day. Today's post is about Mom Advice. When I was a little girl, my mom always taught me to treat people the way you want to be treated and I have to say; that is almost 100% right. If you treat others with kindness, you'll almost always get it back. I say almost always because you don't always meet the nicest people. They can be bitter for a number of reasons, who knows. It could stem from their past, what they … [Read more...]

Love & Marriage…You can’t have one without the other.
Remember that song from Married...with Children with Christina Applegate, Ed O'Neil & Katey Sagal? I used to love watching that show. It was pretty funny, even when they were acting stupid & unrealistic. If you think about it, you really can't have one without the other. You need love in a marriage because without love there is no marriage. Don't you think? As I was browsing through the web, I found an interesting article on Ivillage; which is one of the best web sites around if … [Read more...]
I am so upset!
My anniversary is on June 10th so I decided to surprise my DH with a comedy show to see Mike Epps. He absolutely thinks he is hilarious and loves all of his movies. I think he's funny also. So when I found out he was going to be performing nearby, I was really excited. I said to myself, this will be perfect for an anniversary gift for my husband because he really enjoys his comedy. I was even counting down the days. It was supposed to be for tomorrow night. I just received an email … [Read more...]
Women’s Motto for 2008
A POEM FOR OUR GIRLFRIENDS Someone will always be prettier. Someone will always be skinnier. Someone will always be smarter. Some of their houses will be bigger. Some will drive a better car. Their children will do better in school. And their husband will fix more things around the house.. So let it go, and love you and your circumstances. Think about it! The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart. And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have … [Read more...]

Married?
I copied this article from Ivillage because I can't believe it. Do you think this is a stunt or is it true? In my opinion, I think it's false. She is way too old for him. He's 27 and she's 38. What could they possibly have in common besides music?Holy cow! Contrary to popular belief, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey's reported union does NOT seem to be an Ashton Kutcher scam. E! checked in with Nick's family, who confirmed that the couple have, indeed, gotten married. "Yes, … [Read more...]
Rules for Women – My Opinion, My way of Life
A few weeks ago, I saw an episode of Jerry Springer. Yes, I know that show is psychotic, crazy and down-right dysfunctional, but I watch it occasionally. If it wasn't for my husband recording it daily on our DVR (he likes to laugh at them, don't ask me why), I would never watch the show. This particular show was a bit disturbing to me. It was about a young Hispanic girl (18 years old) that had two kids from an ex-con that is now dating a cousin of hers. Even though she knew that her cousin … [Read more...]
Do you have an abnormal “pot” belly?
If so, you may have a uterine fibroid. Yes, about 70% of women have them and don't even know they have them.About 25-50% of women that have symptoms usually have heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain and pressure, and possible difficulty getting (or staying) pregnant. If they get too big, they can cause major damage to your kidneys. If a doctor tells you that you have fibroids, don't panic--you don't have cancer and you may never develop symptoms. If you do have them, make … [Read more...]
