While organizing my closet this past weekend, I came upon a large envelope with pictures, old birthday cards and a few of my high school papers (Yes, I’m a bit of a hoarder! LOL). Being that today is Valentine’s Day, I thought it was perfect to post one of my favorite items I found.
It was a greeting card from my dad from 1987. I was thirteen years old. Same age as my daughter now. It brought me so much joy and relief to know that I never throw away old greeting cards – EVER!
I’ll always be daddy’s little girl and his Valentine, no matter what!
Looking at this card makes me miss him so very much but I know he’s watching over me, my sister and my family. He’ll always be my number one Valentine. But most importantly, he’s my Valentine angel.
