Update: Blogging Loop

So I’ve been out of the blogging loop for a few weeks now. Lots of things have happened since my last post.

I’m sure by now everyone has heard about the tragedy that’s happened in a Connecticut school where twenty children (and six adults) were shot and killed in a senseless act. I cannot fathom the thought of something bad happening to any of my dear children. God please help those parents who are grieving for their children.

On another note, Thanksgiving night, my little one had 103 degree fever and thus was sick for the next week. Five days later I caught what she had and was out sick for 3 days.

It was awful! The bug she caught at school was the worse one ever. I was hit with an annoying cough at first then I got worse with a high fever and chills. My chest felt like someone punched me numerous times. It was bad. I was unable to stand up without feeling dizzy for over a week.

After I got over it and went back to work, my husband got it. He rarely gets sick so he was out of commission for almost a week as well.

I’m telling you this bug was STRONG! So glad my teenagers didn’t get it and we are all well.

Maybe now I can concentrate in updating my blog and socializing with my blogging peeps. I gotta be honest though – its still hard to be a working mom who blogs. I can’t seem to handle everything but I’m doing what comes first and that is spending time with my family.

I love blogging and will continue to blog as long as I have interest in it but my family will always come first.

Hope all of you are doing well and happy blogging!
