How does going to the movies for FREE sound to you?
Sounds good, uh?
I don’t know about you but I don’t remember the last time my family and I went to the movies. Number one reason: It’s quite expensive, especially when there’s five people going. Between the movie tickets, popcorn, drinks for everyone AND candy, the price of a movie outing can easily cost approximately $60 (depending where you live).
You know for $60, you can buy a few bags of groceries, right? That is exactly why I decided to review the new e-movie cash codes that are inside specially marked brands of Big G (General Mills) cereals, that was started in early November.
Thanks to MyBlogSpark and General Mills (Big G), my family and I were able to see Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 with the 5 e-movie cash tickets that were sent to me for free. My kids lucked out too. They got to eat two of their favorite cereals — a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a box of Reese’s Puffs.
Like I said before, it’s been awhile since we’ve been to the movies so this was a very special treat for all of us. The kids were ecstatic! It was a great movie even though I felt like I was left hanging wanting more but I guess I’ll wait patiently for Part 2 next July (darn!). We love movie nights with the family. Babyboy actually asks to go to the movies all the time. We make it special by seeing a 7pm movie with popcorn and Babyboy. We see toddler friendly movies and spend a great night together.
