I saw New Moon yesterday with my sister and my daughter. I’m not really a Twilight fan, unlike my daughter but I wanted to make her happy so I took her. Ever since she saw the previews, she’s hinted to me that she really wanted to go and see it. She’s a huge book reader and read the book and loved it so she is definitely a huge fan.
I waited to see Twilight on DVD because I heard mixed reviews on the movie and I’m so glad I waited because it wasn’t all that great. I posted about the movie here so you can catch a glimpse of what I thought about the movie. I enjoyed the movie because I am a movie guru but it is not one of my favorite movies. I rather see Interview with a Vampire one hundred times than to see Twilight again.
New Moon was a very good movie. In my opinion, it was much better than Twilight. And it wasn’t because the teenage boys had their shirts off half the time, although that was some nice eye candy for most females..lol The storyline was very interesting and there was never a dull moment.
I encourage all to see it, especially if you have a daughter, niece or sister who loves Twilight. I enjoyed it even though I’m not a fan.

I am not a big Twilight fan either, but was talked into going to see it opening night. After sitting at the theater for4 hours prior to the movie even starting, I was really hoping for a better movie. I thought Twilight was much better than New Moon. The ending was horrible and I liked the romance in Twilight. I was a bit upset after being out all evening!
I’m glad I read your review. I saw Twilight at the movies, and I wasn’t impressed. So, naturally I hesitated about seeing New Moon. After having read your review, I’m a much more eager to see the movie. Thanks.

So glad you had a great time with the family at the movies! I’m not into it myself but I’ve been there where I have to view something my boys liked (Harry Potter) even though I wasn’t into it. Think it was well worth it when I saw their smiles =)
