5 Steps to start saving money with coupons (guest post)

When I first started this blog, it was an outlet; a way of sharing my life, motherhood, marriage, my likes & dislikes and saving money with stores like CVS.  I haven't done that in awhile so I have a very special guest, Yoly, aka @cuponeando on Twitter and she will explain to you the best way to save money with coupons and get the best bang for your buck. Nowadays, we’re all looking for ways to stretch our dollars and one way to keep more of it in your pocket is using coupons. In this … [Read more...]

Bullies Need to Step Back or Tap Out!

There's nothing I hate more than a bully.  When I hear horror stories from kids, it just breaks my heart.  I just wish I could do something to make it all better but the truth of the matter is, I can't.  Kids have to learn how to deal with many things and sometimes parents don't even know that their kids are being bullied but dealing with a bully is harder than we think.  It's a sad fact but true.  Some kids have even committed suicide because they fell into a depression and could not take … [Read more...]

Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs

Get ready, for the dawn of a new age!  Manny, Sid, Diego and Ellie are back for more pre-hysterical hijinks when Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs stomps onto Three-Disc Blu-ray Disc/DVD Combo Pack on October 27.  The third film in the outrageously popular Ice Age franchise, the sub-zero heroes return another wild and fun adventure. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut (while maybe finding true love); Manny and Ellie await the birth of their mini-mammoth; Diego the saber-toothed … [Read more...]

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure | Review

Tinker Bell has always been my favorite character in Peter Pan so it’s no wonder when Tinker Bell came out with her very own movie last year, I was probably one of the first ones to go out and buy it. My daughters will also agree. They both LOVE any movie that is Disney, especially when it comes to princesses or the best fairy in town, Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell was recently named “Honorary Ambassador of Green” by United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public … [Read more...]

All Aboard! Disney’s A Christmas Carol Train Tour!

I just received the most awesome news in my email inbox this morning. This is a … [Read more...]

Keep Your Mind on the Wheel.

I've seen dozens of people texting while driving and I'll admit this - I've texted while driving too and I'm ashamed of admitting it BUT I took the pledge to never do it again and I haven't.  If I receive a text, I'll ignore it and wait until I can reply back when I am done driving or after I've pulled over to a safe place, like a parking lot. Since I took the pledge, I want you all to take the pledge as well.  You don't have to do anything but promise yourself that when you receive a text, … [Read more...]

The Proposal | Movie Review

If you've read my movie reviews before, you already know that I just love romantic comedies. If I had to pick one genre of movies, it would definitely be romantic comedies.  When a movie makes you laugh, cry, feel loved, then the movie has done its job.  That is what I look for in a movie - most of the times. The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds is hysterical!  The stuff these two go through is unbelievable but also very funny. Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) terrorizes her … [Read more...]
