Oh no! Not Dexter! 3

Posted on January 16, 2010 by Lisa

dexterMichael C. Hall is the guy behind Dexter Morgan in Showtime’s “Dexter“.  If you don’t watch one of the best shows around, you are missing out.  He’s a blood spatter analyst in the Miami Metro Police Department who also has a double life. When he’s not helping the Homicide division solve murders, he spends his time hunting and killing bad guys who slip through the justice system.

It’s basically a show about a serial killer with a twist.  Yea, I think every state needs one of those.

Well, he recently revealed on Wednesday that he has been battling cancer – Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  Thank goodness the cancer is treatable and curable with radiation. He’s getting better thanks to the doctors in the Los Angeles-area medical team.

You know, I knew something was wrong with Dexter because on the last season I noticed that he was quite thin and no longer had his built-physique like before. I just thought he was getting “healthier” for the show.

The good news is he is almost done with the treatment and the cancer is in remission.

Way to go Dexter!! Your fans need you for next season!! lol

Holy Crap! I didn’t know! 2

Was I the last one to find out that Dexter married his sister on New Year’s Eve?  Ok, for those of you that don’t watch Dexter, the woman I am referring to plays his sister on the show Dexter.  I am shocked because I had no idea they were dating.  I know they are not related but it just seems odd to me.  I guess it’s because I have them pictured as “real” brother and sister. I know, I’m weird.  Oh well, I hope they have a very happy marriage.

Read the article below I copied from People:

Don’t worry folks, it’s legal. They may play brother and sister on Dexter, but in real life Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were lawfully wed on New Year’s Eve, according to Hall’s rep, Craig Bankey. The outdoor ceremony was held in Big Sur.

Hall, 37, and Carpenter, 29, plan to appear together at this year’s Golden Globes Awards on Sunday.

PEOPLE last caught up with Carpenter at the Emmys in September, where she answered the question, Who’s the sexiest man alive? with ease: “Michael C Hall!,” she said. “He’s the sexiest man alive. He’s one of the best we’ve got. He’s an incredible talent and if anyone deserves accolades, it’s him.”

I just have to say… 3

that Dexter was GREAT!! It left me to the point where I wanted more and more.  My husband was left feeling the same way too.  Although he thinks we shouldn’t watch Dexter for 3 weeks and then watch them consecutively.  But I don’t know if I’d want to do that.  The suspense of not knowing what’s going to happen next and waiting would get me crazy!  So we’ll see if that’s going to happen.  Does anyone do that? – Wait a few weeks to watch a show and then watch them back to back (we have a DVR)?

So for those die-hard fans like myself, what did you think about Dexter last nite?  Did you like it?  Did it leave you wanting more?  I would love to hear about it!

I can’t wait! 3

I can’t wait to see Dexter tonite!  I love that show.  The characters, the story and what happens each and every time.  What can I say, I love those thriller-killer-type shows & movies. I especially love when the killer goes after the bad guys and not the good ones.

I also love how Yahoo had a special start page looking like their original start page only with a twist.  Isn’t it cool?  I just had to copy it and post it here for all to look at.

So am I the only “freak” who loves Dexter or are there other fans out there like me?  Please comment, I would love to know ;)
