One more day til FRIDAY!!

I am so glad it's almost Friday.  That means I don't have to wake up at 5AM for two whole days.  I know I said I'm a SAHM but I've been making my husband breakfast every morning to save some money. He was spending way too much money for breakfast in the city.  Almost $10 each day!  That is just crazy.  With the way this economy is going, every penny counts. Anyway, I wanted to mention I am on Twitter now.  Yay!!  It looks like fun so I said why not.  So if you click on the blue bird on the … [Read more...]

Don’t you hate it…

...when you have a paper cut on your finger and don't remember how you got it? ...when you see a bruise on your leg and you absolutely don't remember how it got there until you felt it? ...when you are driving behind a person going 40 mph on a 55 mph and you can't pass them? ...when you drive down a road, minding your own business when all of a sudden someone comes across the double yellow lines and you have to jerk the vehicle away so you won't crash into them? ...when you have so … [Read more...]

Out of curiosity…

where do you stand?  Election Day is just a few weeks away and I wanted to know who you will be voting for.  Your votes are obviously anonymous because the polls are private and only you will know who you picked to be our next President of the United States. So please take a second and cast your vote.  Thank you! By the way, I will be posting the same poll on my sidebar until November 3rd. Online Surveys & Market Research … [Read more...]

You may want to try this at home.

When I read this, I thought this was really odd.  Read below: Suresh Joachim of Toronto, and Claudia Wavra of Germany, claim to have broken the world record for continuous movie watching, after seeing 57 films in 123 hours in a plastic-glass house in New York's Times Square. A Guinness World Records spokesman said it appears the non-dynamic duo have broken the record but said it will take two weeks to officially verify. The attempt began Oct. 2 when eight challengers started watching … [Read more...]

WW – Apple & Pumpkin Pickin’

These are a few of the pictures that I took when we went Apple and Pumpkin picking on Sunday. We were at the DuBois Farms and we had such a great time. We had great weather too. They had so many different types of apples. Granny Smith, Empires, Macintosh, Golden Delicious and much more. The Golden Delicious was indeed all of our favorites. It was sweet, crisp and very juicy. Now all I have to do is look for a good apple Pie recipe. So, has anyone else been Apple pickin'? I would … [Read more...]

Whole Lotta Love for Me!

YAY!! I received the "I love your blog" award.  It was given to me by Fashiona.  I feel so honored to receive this award.  It makes me happy to know that there are people that really love my blog. I never thought I would get any awards just by having a blog.  I started this blog for fun,  and to earn some money on the side.  So to think that people actually enjoy my blog makes me proud.  Thank you so much Alicia!! Now it's my turn to choose 7 blogs that I love, which was difficult because … [Read more...]

Health Insurance – Truth or Dare

I found a great article while browsing through Ivillage and I thought it would be perfect to post it here just in case you didn't know about our health insurance plans for our American future.  It shows us the difference between McCain's Health Plan and Obama's Health Plan starting in 2009.  Click here to read more about it. … [Read more...]
