I hate it when…

I buy something, forget about it and and then it goes bad. Like on Friday, I bought ground chicken to make Rachael Ray's Buffalo Meatballs (they're so good) for the Superbowl.  I wanted to make them on Saturday so I wouldn't have to make them on Sunday. On Saturday night, my daughter asks me if I was still making the meatballs, I told her I'll make it on Sunday since I made Chili in the crockpot today (Saturday).  She says ok. Sunday comes along and I am exhausted.  Why? Because my 3 … [Read more...]

Tara is HILARIOUS!!! If you don't have Showtime, then you should call your cable or satellite provider and order it because you are missing some serious laughs.  If you enjoy crazy comedy like me, then you'll love this show.  You'll laugh, be in "awe" and you'll be left wanting more after the show ends - that's how good the show is. It's about a mother and artist named Tara (Toni Collette), she's been married to her husband Max (John Corbett) for 19 years and they have two children, Kate … [Read more...]

Monday’s Horoscope

From time to time, I glance at my daily horoscope on Yahoo's start page.  I really don't follow it like I said before but it does have me wonder about the things that are happening in my life right now. Here it is: You need to start celebrating your uniqueness and stop comparing yourself to others! You have your own personality and it's wonderful -- so what if it prevents you from clicking with every single person you meet? It's no fun to always get along with everyone, anyway. Conflict is … [Read more...]

Some facts about the White House

I was reading People magazine and I saw some facts about the White House and about our new President. So here you go: For starters, the actual shade of the White House is "Whisper White," from Sherwin-Williams. Except for Uncle Sam-funded official dinners, all meal, drink and dry cleaning bills go to the First Family, to be taken out of the president's $400,000 annual salary. Take-out food can be delivered, in addition to what's available from the fully stocked White House … [Read more...]
