Did you know that most students experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer? School may be out, but learning doesn’t have to be! With summer in full swing, most kids have lost sight of schoolwork and are enjoying their days off outside of the classroom.

For the perfect way to beat the heat and indulge in some screen time, introduce your kids to something new with Netflix – whether it’s a documentary about dinosaurs or the moon, you can keep your little ones’ brains active all summer long.

This summer, I decided to opt out of summer camp for my kids. For one, my son had surgery early July. And two, my girls weren’t interested in summer camp this year. When I get home from work, I usually take them out for ice cream or to the park to get some fresh air. On the weekends, we go on day trips. But when they’re home, you can definitely find them watching something on Netflix. They can’t enough of Netflix. There’s always something new to see.

Check out some of the summer’s picks from Netflix.
