Making A No-Sew Tulle Skirt Was Easy As 1, 2, 3!

Let me start off by saying I’m not one of those moms who can make costumes, “foo-foo” outfits or even sew well. I know how to sew but I never liked it. I’d rather give whatever needs sewing to my husband and that’s that. Yes, he knows how to sew and sews better than me.

Who knew?!

But I wanted to do something special for my little one’s birthday party this coming weekend. She’s the baby in the family and we’ll be celebrating her 8th birthday at a local roller rink. I wanted her to look like a roller skating princess so off I went searching online and on YouTube.

I found so many great ideas for a no-sew tulle skirt. My co-worker even showed me the best way to tie the knots for the skirt. So I went out to Walmart and bought 3 rolls of tulle (25 yards each), 5 yards of shimmery silver ribbon and a 1-inch non-roll elastic band.

Making a tulle skirt was easier than I thought. If I can make a tulle skirt, ANYONE can. Trust me! It took me about an hour to make but while I was making the skirt, I was also watching Food Network so time flew by.

It was easy as 1, 2, 3.
