Saying Good-Bye to My Favorite Disney Ornaments — Yes, My Christmas Tree is Still Up!

I know what you’re thinking, why is my tree still up?

Is she crazy?

It’s the 12th of January.

But guess what? Vera from Lady and The Blog has her tree up too. So there! 🙂

I know Christmas came and went over 18 days ago. Usually I like to keep the tree up til’ after Three Kings Day even if we even if we don’t officially celebrate it. It’s something my mom would do when I was a kid. So I figured six days after Three Kings Day isn’t too bad. Right? I’ll blame work and being lazy.

But tonight, my tree, decorations and my lovely ornaments will be tucked away in the attic until next Christmas.

Here’s a few of my favorite Disney ornaments:

  1. Honestly, my record for having the Christmas tree up is 3 years straight. It was too pretty to take down and it morphed into our regular decor…I don’t see anything wrong with it except for the looks you get when a guest sees the Christmas tree in the summertime.

  2. I wanted my tree to stay up but the hubs took it down. The old ornaments from my childhood and the ones that were made by my kiddo and neices and nephew are my favorite ornaments.

    • I WISH my husband would take it down. Less work for me! Sadly, I went food shopping and ran some errands so needless to say, my tree is still up. Lol!
