I Made a Delicious Tropical Smoothie with Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice #Tropimommas

Did you know that Tropicana is the single largest buyer of Florida fruit, purchasing approximately 11.6 billion oranges from Florida each year? That’s a lot of fruit if you ask me!  I’m proud to be a part of the Tropicana crew (I’m a TropiMomma!) this year to bring you the latest information about Tropicana’s products and let you in on some great deals too.

When I was a little girl, I remember my mother buying Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice every week. When I would get sick, she’d give me a glass of Tropicana orange juice. She said it would make me feel better.  And you know what’s so funny? I do the same thing with my three children.  It’s been proven that a day’s supply of vitamin C can help support a healthy immune system.  It even has as much potassium as a medium-sized banana  — which plays an important role in heart health. And that is why you’ll always find a carton (or bottle) of Tropicana in my refrigerator.

I’ve tried many other brands of orange juice and it doesn’t taste as good and fresh as Tropicana.  It’s made from fresh oranges and the best part  — it has no added sugar! I mean, why would I want to provide my growing children with juice that is made with sugar? Certainly not this mom!

Nutrition Facts about Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice:

  • Each 8-ounce glass of Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice equals to two fruit servings.
  • A natural source of the B-vitamin folate, which helps with cell development (especially important for pregnant women).
  • A good source of thiamin, which is essential in energy metabolism, and plays an important role in nerve and muscle function.

As we all know, Tropicana has been around for a very long time.  It’s no wonder some of Tropicana’s current grower relationships date back to the 1960’s!

Tropicana has rolled out an elegantly-designed 89-ounce container for its flagship Tropicana Pure Premium brand that lets consumers see the 100 percent pure Florida orange juice inside.   This sleek first-of-its kind package is ideal for any breakfast or brunch occasion because it offers orange juice lovers more convenience , easier handling and pouring, style and 100-percent recyclability all in a family-size bottle.

The new 89-ounce bottle is available at grocery stores nationwide.

During the hot summers months, I like to make smoothies for my family.  We enjoy them with frozen fruit, and at times — with a dash of cinnamon and as always, some  Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice. I don’t have a recipe I go by, I just add whatever I have on hand to the mixer and blend away.

This time I made a tropical smoothie.  You may ask what’s so tropical about this smoothie? Well, it’s the coconut milk and the mango that makes it tropical! 😉 I added frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, fresh mango, 1/2 cup of coconut milk and 3/4 of a cup of Tropicana orange juice.  It’s refreshing, nutritious and so easy to make.

Tropicana Collage 2As you can see, you don’t need to follow a precise recipe. Just take any fruits you like and Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice and voila — You’ve got yourself a healthy and delicious homemade smoothie that your whole family will love!

    • I know exactly what you mean! I crave fruits and smoothies when it’s warm outside. Dont you wish that was the case in the winter time? lol

  2. I love a good smoothie-it looks so good. I will have to try it without the coconut milk (allergic). My little one is starting to eat more fruit. This would be great for her to try.
