Starting The Autumn Season with Hot Apple Cider K-Cup® Portion Packs

Today is the first day of Autumn.  It’s a pretty warm day in New York with scattered showers over the state but its finally starting to feel like Fall, one of my favorite seasons.

The best part about living in the Hudson Valley is that we have lots of Apple Orchards to choose from.  My family and I love to go Apple Picking.  It’s one of the many activities we enjoy doing as a family.  We can pick our own apples, taste some freshly squeezed apple cider and indulge in warm apple cider donuts.  If you’ve never had a freshly baked apple cider donut, you are missing out!

It tastes best when brewed on the 8-oz setting (which is what Green Mountain suggests).   But if you’re not into sweet drinks, then the 10-oz setting would be fine.  And if you’re in the mood for some iced cold Apple Cider, grab your Brew Over Ice tumbler, add ice and brew the K-Cup right over it (6-oz would probably work best – it’s my personal choice).  It’s delicious cold as it is hot.  You can’t go wrong.  My girls love this stuff. I think I may have to buy some more really soon because I’m running out!
