In just a few short days, Summer will be in full-force and families everywhere will either have a long-awaited vacation or a “staycaction.” Whether you’re having a staycation at home like we are, you need to prepare yourself for the warmer months.
Where we live, school will be over in a few days and I can just hear all the kids counting down the days, let alone the hours. Practically everyone is looking forward to no schedule, dips in the pool, BBQ’s, NO HOMEWORK and/or just hanging out. I ‘m looking forward to all of that and then some.
What a glorious feeling!
I am beyond ecstatic because I am armed and ready to conquer the hot sun and those pesky bugs and mosquitoes.
BabyCenter contacted me a few weeks ago to join their Summer campaign at Diapers.com but I’ll be totally honest, I was perplexed. There is no sign of a baby on my blog or anywhere near my social networks so I thought why would they contact me?
Boy, was I wrong!
Diapers.com has more than just baby items. They have loads of items suitable for children up to at least ten years old. Yup, you read that right. Diapers.com has indoor and outdoor activity sets, tents, arts & crafts, wagons, ride-on toys lemonade stand kits, etc.
As you may know, my kids have been out of diapers for awhile (thank goodness — my youngest is 6!) so I wanted to get things that would make our summer bearable and of course incredible.
I picked out most of my items from their Summer Boutique.
Here’s what I got for $100:
1-Burt’s Bees Herbal Insect Repellent – 4 fl oz -$7.99
1-Burt’s Bees 8 SPF Lip Balm – 0.15 oz -$3.99

All that PLUS free shipping (on orders $49 or more). We are all ready for the Summer and no tangles! 😉
