NY News – It’s Official!

Triborough Bridge
The Triborough Bridge is officially being named the “Robert F. Kennedy Bridge“.  It connects 3 boroughs: The Bronx, Manhattan and Queens.  There is a ceremony being held today in Astoria Park in Queens where Former President Bill Clinton, Governor Paterson and Mayor Bloomberg are all scheduled to attend.  Today also marks Robert’s 83rd. birthday.  He was assassinated in 1968 in California, while campaigning for the Democratic Presidential nomination.

*The MTA bridge is the first major public work in the state dedicated to the senator.
