As I was reading one of my favorite blogs, ModernMami, I noticed a video she posted from Youtube about a message to all of us to stop celebrating Columbus Day.

I never even heard of anything negative about Columbus until recently.  Maybe I blocked it out of my mind or maybe I really never heard it before but after viewing this video, I don’t think I will say anything positive about a man that did so many hateful crimes and awful things to the indigenous people from the Caribbean and millions of natives throughout the America
