I’ve been feeling…
very blah lately. I guess that is why I haven't been posting frequently here like I used to. My grandmother is in the hospital and I haven't been the same since the first day she went in. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia, among other things. I feel so helpless right now but she is in a facility where she will get all the help she needs and requires. Today’s my anniversary!
12 years ago, I stood in front of a judge at City Hall and married my best friend/boyfriend of 6 years. I can still remember the day as if it were yesterday. When it was his turn to say, "With this ring, I thee wed", he said "With this wing, I thee wed". It was one of the funniest moments we ever had. One in four New York City residents has HERPES. Can you believe that? A city Health Department study finds that more than a fourth of adult New Yorkers are infected with the virus that causes genital herpes. The study, released Monday, says about 26 percent of New York City adults have genital herpes, compared to about 19 percent nationwide. Remember this post? Well, I'm happy to say that I'm finally going to see Young Frankenstein. For Mother's Day, my sister bought me 2 tickets to see the show on June 22nd. She had mentioned before that she sent me something in the mail but she kept quiet about what she was sending me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened up the letter.
