Outback Steakhouse® made its debut at its newest restaurant in the Bronx, opening its doors at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 28.
To show its support of the local community, the new location hosted a Give Back event on Monday, October 5, in which a portion of the day’s sales benefited Harry S Truman High School. The new restaurant will be the newest addition to The Mall at Bay Plaza and the first in the area to feature a new “Modern Australia” design both inside and out.
For a limited time, the Bronx Outback is offering mouthwatering steak paired with unlimited Garlic Herb Butter Shrimp or Crispy Shrimp with new Volcano Dipping Sauce starting at just $15.99.
Plus, in addition to Outback’s signature bold steak dinner entrées, guests can enjoy new core menu innovations, including the new Wood-Fire Grilled Flat Iron Steak and Premium Sides, such as Steakhouse Mac & Cheese, Loaded Mashed Potatoes and Parmesan Fries. The restaurant will also feature a wide variety of fast and affordable lunch combos, starting at just $6.99, such as the Aussie Steak Tacos or the new ½ Ribeye Melt.
Sizzling 9 oz. Sirloin
The new restaurant will feature a “Modern Australia” design with décor that mirrors the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure, geography and leisure of modern day Australia. Guests will also enjoy a spacious, energetic bar area that includes a community table – a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails. The new bar will also feature customized seating and furnishings and is connected directly to the outdoor dining patio.

As I said before, it’s not very often that I go out to dinner with the family because of the expense. But when Outback Steakhouse invited me to be a part of a sponsored campaign as well as give away a $50 gift card, I jumped at the chance! And I just can’t say no to my favorite item on the menu – Coconut Shrimp! It’s what I order each and every time I visit Outback.

Outback is also a great place for Date Night, which is what hubby and I do when we want to get away for a few hours. It costs a lot less since the kids are home and it’s a lot quieter as well.

We decided to visit our local Outback for a family outing this past Monday. I ordered their Classic Caesar Salad (which is always great!) as a side and I was blown away. I can honestly say that the Caesar dressing is one of the best dressings I’ve ever tasted. It’s spicy with a tang and very garlicky.
We also ordered their Aussie Fries and those were so DELISH, as always. We all know that fries are fattening but they’re so very satisfying!
And as usual, I ordered the Coconut Shrimp and was in heaven! I’m sure if I ever decide to make it at home, it will not taste like Outback. So instead, I’ll make it a tradition to eat it at my favorite steakhouse. 😉
